This book highlights the memories of Dr Frank Madill AM during his two-year residency as a Resident Medical Officer at the Launceston General Hospital 1966- 1967. During that time, he was mentored by leading physicians and surgeons including: Drs John C.H. Morris, Frank R. Stevens and Surgeons Harald (Gate) Gatenby, Roland (Roly) Gale, Derek Farrar; and Sister Fay Jones and Tiny. These and many others were Frank's Giants.
The book pays tribute to those mentors of the mid-960s in what was considered the most outstanding provincial hospital in Australia, the Launceston General Hospital.
