A BIG thank you to everyone who joined us on Wednesday for our annual International Women’s Day Luncheon.
This year’s guest speaker Liz Hayes was inspirational, proving that neither gender nor age should be seen as a barrier for success.
A well-known media personality, speaking to the sold-out crowd of 350 people Liz drew on her own stories and experiences of growing up in a rural town.
She also shared insights from her new memoir - ‘I’m Liz Hayes' - signing copies for some eager fans. Limited signed copies are now available at Petrarch's Bookshop.
As part of this celebration, the Foundation was proud to highlight some of Northern Tasmania’s female medical researchers with a special video. You can watch this here.
All funds raised on the day will support the Foundation’s medical research program at the Launceston General Hospital.
