Empowering women through awareness and early detection
The Clifford Craig Health Foundation has extended its heartfelt thanks to the generous sponsors who helped make the 2026 Women's Health Brunch at Country Club Tasmania a meaningful and impactful event focused on raising awareness of gynaecological cancers and the importance of early detection.
The brunch brought together leading clinicians, advocates, survivors and community members to share knowledge, discuss emerging medical advances and encourage women to prioritise their health. The event also raised vital funds to support local medical research and health initiatives across Northern Tasmania.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges the support of St Lukes, Real Estate Institute of Tasmania, The Tea Equation, VJAM, Sara Redman - Your Courageous Leadership, Country Club Tasmania, Delicious Little Things and Blast Balloons. Their contributions helped create an engaging and welcoming experience while supporting the Foundation's mission to improve health outcomes for Tasmanians.
Clifford Craig Health Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Vanessa Cahoon, said the event's success was made possible through strong community partnerships and a shared commitment to women's health.
"Our hope is this event sparks new knowledge across the community; for Tasmanian women to understand the symptoms of gynaecological cancers and to act by seeing their GP or requesting a referral to a gynaecologist for early detection. We have learned how important early detection is for survival and we also know how often women put themselves last when busy caring for others."
