Join our Friends of Clifford Craig for Mother's Day

The Launceston Friends of Clifford Craig invite you to join them for their annual Mother's Day Luncheon, with guest speaker Dr Natasha Vavrek.

Enjoy a two-course lunch with friends at Riverside Golf Club, while hearing from an inspiring guest speaker.

Dr Vavrek is director of The Bubble Tasmania - a specialist women's health clinic, GP and 2023 Telstra Best of Business - Tasmanian Accelerating Women Award Winner.

This Bubble was the first of its kind in not only Tasmania, but Australia, when it opened in the height of the pandemic in 2021. It now has offices in Launceston and Hobart.

During her medical training, Dr Vavrek noted persistent gender inequities in medicine and medical leadership in Australia. 

As a mother of young children herself, she quickly became passionate about supporting mothers working within general practice by providing flexibility and eliminating inequity.

She is a proud advocate of her profession and through her work at The Bubble is slowly changing the narrative through greater empowerment for the women that work within it and for the women that walk through the doors seeking their services. 

This promises to be an insightful event, with all funds raised on the day in support of the Clifford Craig Foundation.
