Friends’ Garden Fete a fundraising success

The Launceston Friends of Clifford Craig Garden Fete has wrapped up for another year, with hundreds of visitors making the most of some splendid spring weather on Sunday, November 27.

This year’s event was held at the beautiful Exeter property of Liz and Brett Jordan.

Known as ‘Jordella’, the cottage-style garden did not disappoint, with visitors encouraged to wander among the roses and take in the sights.

The Friends’ famous Devonshire tea, sandwiches and sausage sizzle were also a hit, with live entertainment generously provided by from the Exeter Primary School Choir.

Thank you to everyone who supported this event.

Each year our Friends work tirelessly in support of the Foundation, with the Garden Fete culminating another successful fundraising year for the volunteer group.

The Friends group meets monthly to plan their activities, and are always keen to attract new members to their ranks.
