Friends’ fundraising off to a strong start

Our Launceston Friends of Clifford Craig have had a busy start to 2023, with two fundraising events already under their belt.

On February 25 the group provided catering for the Exeter Show, with Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff and Deputy Premier Michael Ferguson among those enjoying their hospitality.

On March 3 the Friends also hosted a Cocktail Party at the historic Corra Linn property at Relbia.

More than 130 guests enjoyed a night of socialising and hospitality, all while raising funds for the Clifford Craig Foundation.

The Friends of Clifford Craig are a group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to raise money for the Foundation’s medical research program here in Northern Tasmania.

They take great pride in their support for medical research and are very active through the year with a number of fundraising events including Melbourne Cup Luncheon, Spring Garden Fete, Winter Soup & Sandwich Luncheon, Bunnings Sausage Sizzle and Mother’s Day Luncheon.

The Friends have contributed enormously to the Foundation over the years, not only in their fundraising endeavours but also with their enthusiasm, commitment and thousands of hours spent volunteering.

They meet monthly to plan their activities, and are always keen to attract new members to their ranks.

If you are interested in becoming a ‘Friend‘, or if you would like to know more, please contact the Clifford Craig office on (03) 6777 6010.
