Statewide Prostate Cancer Study ($20,000)
The Trust approved a grant to Drs. Monsour and Middleton in the first state-wide research study funded by the Clifford Craig Trust. This was for research on the diagnosis of Prostate Cancer, a condition which causes the deaths of over 2,000 Australian men every year. Tasmania, with its small isolated and relatively static population, is uniquely placed to contribute to international knowledge by commissioning population health studies.

Tasmania's Clifford Craig Medical Research Trust was established in 1991.
