Dr. Zahid Ansari, a leading international epidemiologist was bought to Tasmania. His studies into the incidence of cancer in Tasmania revealed an alarming increase in lung cancer amongst Tasmanian women at a time when this disease was not increasing to the same degree throughout the rest of Australia. Dr. Ansari published a number of papers on his work whilst employed by the Clifford Craig Trust.
